Thank you for your interest in booking a photo shoot experience with me. As of 2021, I am located in northern Italy and am accepting limited private commissions in Como, Milan, and the rest of Italy. While priority is given to my home base, private commissions are also available throughout much of Europe.
Private commissions within the United States are still available, and 1-2 shoot events are scheduled in the US each year, operating off of a wait list.

theWORKS Photo Experience
Join Kara Marie for a luxury photo shoot experience fit for the legend that you are. Begin your day having your hair and makeup professionally done while enjoying light snacks and refreshments. Once ready, you’ll enjoy an uplifting and empowering 1.5 hour studio photo shoot experience with Kara Marie (time for 3 looks/outfits). Your photo collection will include standard natural retouching, a private remote photo reveal appointment approximately 3 weeks after your photo session to view and make your image selections for printed products from a final presentation of approximately 65 images. Experience includes an 8x12 fine art Italian leather and crystal cover fashion album with your choice of 35 images, nestled inside a handmade wooden display box. In addition to your printed album, you will also receive your entire collection of web-resolution digital files for personal use on a crystal USB drive. Option to purchase additional printed products including wall art during your photo reveal appointment and/or apply your album credit to upgraded or alternate products. Total value is $8,250 for the price of $5,500 + tax.

Understanding that these shoots are both a scheduling and financial commitment, while still wanting to offer as many people as possible the impact of a feel-good photo shoot experience, it was important to me to be able to offer a stateside alternative for you.
In the two years leading up to my departure from Austin, Texas, I professionally trained my studio manager and wing-woman Joeli Middlebrooks as my protégé. A budding artist and creative professional in her own right, Joeli now has a large number of KMS-style photo shoots and happy customers under her belt.
While she has her own shoot style entirely, she is well-trained on providing my discerning photo shoot experience including posing direction, lighting and editing techniques, while delivering a beautiful set of finished images to her very satisfied clients.
While Joeli is also a personal branding photographer with Kara Marie Collective - offering a more buttoned-up type of business branding experience, we’ve curated an offering of KMS-structured beauty and boudoir portrait packages that offer the same high quality products and experience that my have all received in the past, at a price point that is proportionate to her protégé’s experience level.
